We are dedicated to enhancing access to quality education and ensuring the retention and progression of children under five, girls, and adults in their learning journey. Our sub-objectives focus on addressing the specific needs of these groups to create inclusive and empowering educational environments. One of our key initiatives is the development of a return to school strategy guideline for girls who have dropped out of school. We understand that many girls face various challenges that hinder their education, and we are committed to providing them with the necessary support to re-engage in learning and continue their educational journey.
To ensure the safety and well-being of teenage girls in our target communities, we have also implemented an enhanced community protection surveillance mechanism. This mechanism aims to prevent and address sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) by proactively monitoring and responding to potential risks. By creating safer spaces for girls, we aim to foster an environment where they feel secure and empowered to pursue their education without fear.
We strongly believe that a well-designed and up-to-date school curriculum is essential for delivering quality education. Therefore, we actively support the development and refinement of the school curriculum, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of our learners and aligns with best practices in education. Through this effort, we aim to provide a relevant and engaging learning experience for all students.
Recognizing the vital role nutrition plays in learning, we advocate for school feeding programs specifically tailored to early childhood development (ECD) learners. These programs not only address the nutritional needs of children but also contribute to increased school attendance and improved academic performance. By advocating for school feeding programs, we strive to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically and physically. Our work focuses on delivering key outputs that contribute to the overall success of our education initiatives. We have developed a comprehensive return to school guideline, which provides a roadmap for girls who have dropped out of school to reintegrate into the educational system successfully. Additionally, we have implemented a school feeding program, ensuring that children in ECD retain access to nutritious meals during their learning journey. Through our collaborative efforts, a well-implemented return to school strategy is in place, ensuring that children who have faced educational disruptions can regain their place in the classroom. Furthermore, our community surveillance mechanism is actively monitoring and preventing SGBV incidents, creating a protective environment for teenage girls in our target communities.
Ultimately, our goal is to increase enrolment, retention, and progression in education. By focusing on the specific needs of children under five, girls, and adults, we aim to break down barriers to education, empowering individuals to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society. Join us in our mission to create a world where education is accessible to all, enabling lifelong learning and personal growth.
